Introduction

Minster House in Leominster, “The Town in the Marches”, is located in the heart of the beautiful border countryside, where England and Wales nudge each other back and forth along Offa’s Dyke.

This 1700’s historic coaching inn is now the perfect spot to bring friends and families together for house parties and a good old knee’s up, as it is conveniently located above the Royal Oak pub!

The house can sleep an impressive 76 guests overall, 28 guests in Minster Party House and a further 48 guests throughout the rest of the property if required. The sheer scale of the accommodation combined with some of the most competitive rates for miles, makes Minster House the perfect location for any large group accommodation requirement.

Further accommodation: 14 bedrooms, sleeping 46 guests in total (using additional z beds).
An open fire in the residents lounge and bar area create a warm and welcome atmosphere whilst the larger function rooms can be used recreationally or for additional dining. There is a small kitchenette area, however guests can select a menu from one of our recommended caterers, organise their own professional catering, dine in the Royal Oak itself or enjoy one of the many other options available in Leominster. Entertainment is only ever moments away as the pub offers Sky TV throughout with a full programme of weekend DJ’s and live music acts and in the summertime the alfresco area can be enjoyed for both drinks and dining.

As we are adjoined to the Royal Oak we must ask that guests refrain from bringing along their own alcohol, however, if you wish to contain the party within the house itself do not fear, there is a bar within the lounge area which can be serviced by the pub itself.

Alternatively, why not take advantage of our cellar wine bar ‘Bar 44’. This can be accessed internally from Minster House and can be enjoyed for private events. The standard nightly tariff is £250 and standard bar prices apply.
